Crete Senesi, Siena, Toscana

Villa & Hotel for sale in the province of Siena

Eighteenth-century manor villa and tourist village, thanks to its location in the Crete Senesi, it is one of the places of extreme relaxation with incredible views of Monte Amiata and Montalcino, offering an authentic atmosphere.

The farm and village, with approximately 2800 square meters of built-up area immersed in about 65 hectares of land, including 30 hectares of woodland, over 6 hectares of olive groves with 1760 plants, and about 30 hectares of arable land, are located on the hillside ridge of the Crete Senesi. They are situated at the center of an area rich in historical ruins and varied landscapes.

From the residential complex, one can gaze upon the hills of Montepulciano and Monte Cetona, towards the “Crete Senesi,” Monte Amiata, and further towards Siena.

In the immediate vicinity, there are important cultural and architectural sites such as the Romanesque church of S. Stefano, the monastery of S. Anna in Camprena with the frescoes by Sodoma, and a little further, the abbey complex of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Pienza, Montepulciano, and many other places.

The eighteenth-century manor house hosts three rooms with frescoed walls and ceilings dating back to the 1800s and six suites whose furniture, strictly antique, has been chosen with particular attention to the style and era of the Villa.

To offer complete service, each room and suite has been furnished with a minibar, telephone, and satellite television.

The rural part of the village, consisting of old houses, stables, and barns, has been completely restored and transformed into comfortable apartments, each furnished with Tuscan rustic furniture and almost all furnished with the old, now functional, fireplace.

The 20 apartments (for a total of 30 rooms) are all furnished with materials of Tuscan rustic art and designed to best meet the taste and needs of each guest.

The Borgo restaurant is born in the ancient premises of the farm cellars where barrels and barns were found; the furnishings and the architectural structure of its rooms still retain their characteristic appearance.

The external environment also offers recreational possibilities such as the swimming pool and whirlpool or the bar, where you can enjoy typical dishes in front of a pleasant panorama.

The same woods, finally, create excellent opportunities for walking or horseback riding.

The careful restoration of the village has brought the borgo back to its former splendor with its characteristic rural buildings, the elegant manor house, the roads, and gardens, as well as the agricultural activity with the cultivation of olive trees, the original resource of the past and current source of production of an excellent organic extra virgin olive oil, a precious taste of the Tuscan lands.

From the structured complex, it was also possible to create ideal rooms for meetings, conferences, convivial evenings, or simply for quiet moments of relaxation dedicated to pleasant reading.

The complex is currently a high-level accommodation facility, ideal for shooting fiction films and TV commercials and, of course, corporate and private events.
